I have plenty experience in the start up biz, great organisation and communication skills, web savy, social media approved and always looking for new trends and things.
here's the about text of my last project, a panel at Campus Party Europe:
BarbNerdy is a Berlin-based digital doyenne: a networker, trailblazer, early adopter, future-seeker, talent scout and DJ all rolled into one very neat and clever package. She is the archetypal digital gal with a penchant for seeking out the newest, the coolest, the awesomest the Web and iOS have to offer. When it comes to the world of electronic entertainment, especially music online, she will be the first to get her hands on that killer service, app or gadget. You name it, she's alpha-, beta- and user-tested it to the max and back again. With her motto "Sharing Means Caring", you can look forward to some well-though-out insights from her at Campus Party Europe in Berlin.

iTunes - Head of Editorial (Germany / Austria)
With my experience of working more than 15 years in the music buisness I started working for iTunes right after the German / Austrian store opened. My responsibility here was to develop the editorial direction of the store. Every week I selected and programmed music for all genres by means of market and music relevance for iTunes. My status was some kind of hidden, I was not allowed to talk to labels, artists and distributors who could have taken any influence on what is featured. I worked from home, just connected via internet and regulary business meetings in the headquarters of the company. The german team at this time has only 3 people (Editorial, Labelrelations and Marketing)
- Selection of around 1000 long players/singles each week (all genres) by means of market and music relevance
- Analysis of end-user behaviour and reporting on a weekly basis
- Conception and implementation of methods to increase sales for
upcoming releases and back catalog (Newsletter, Mixtape, weekly
Albumtipp)
- Collaboration in further development of iTunes’ own content management system
